Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years of related experience, preferably within a medical setting, financial services setting, and/or a demanding customer service environment.
• Experience operating a PC and using software applications.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduling, preregistration, and verifies demographic data.
• Verifies insurance information and identifies authorization/ referral requirements.
• Calculates patient financial responsibility estimates and processes payments.
• Delivers positive patient experience and maintains professional relationships with patients and external contacts.
• Supports productivity goals and suggests process improvements.
• Adheres to AHN policies and completes mandatory trainings.
• Communicates barriers or issues to team lead and assists in training others.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
