Responsibilities

• Conducts scheduling and preregistration; validates demographic data and benefits; ensures accurate billing data.
• Verifies insurance information via payors and documents authorization requirements.
• Identifies patient financial responsibilities, estimates, collects and posts payments, and escalates when needed.
• Delivers positive patient experience and maintains relationships with patients and AHN staff.
• Maintains productivity and adheres to policies; participates in trainings.
• Communicates barriers and assists teammates; resolves patient issues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
