Job summary

PT Solutions Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator to be the first point of contact for patients, handling check-in/check-out, payments, and documentation to ensure a smooth clinic experience.

You will support clinic operations, coordinate with therapists and care teams, and maintain accurate records while upholding HIPAA and insurance processes. A friendly, professional demeanor and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; higher education not specified.
• 1–2 years of customer service or healthcare front office experience preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems and scheduling platforms strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out.
• Verify information and schedule follow-up appointments.
• Handle payments and explain financial responsibilities; maintain records.
• Support clinic operations by managing phones, schedules, referrals, and EMR documentation.
• Deliver a positive patient experience and address questions professionally.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation; follow insurance processes.
• Collaborate with therapists and teams to coordinate care and resolve access/scheduling issues.
• Assist with clinic operations and provide coverage as needed.
