Job summary

PT Solutions Physical Therapy is hiring a Patient Access Coordinator to greet patients, manage check-in/out, verify information, and schedule follow-ups. You will handle payments, explain financial responsibilities, and support clinic operations across phones, referrals, and EMR documentation.

You will ensure HIPAA compliance, coordinate with therapists, and assist with special projects while providing excellent patient experiences in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of customer service or healthcare front office experience preferred.
• Experience using EMR systems and scheduling platforms strongly preferred.
• Must meet all compliance, background check, and onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, check-in/out, verify information, and schedule follow-ups.
• Handle payments, explain financial responsibilities, and maintain accurate daily financial records.
• Support clinic operations by managing phones, schedules, referrals, and EMR documentation.
• Deliver a positive patient experience by addressing questions professionally.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation standards.
• Collaborate with therapists and internal teams to coordinate care and resolve access or scheduling issues.
• Assist with clinic operations, special projects, and provide coverage as needed.
