Job summary

PT Solutions Physical Therapy in Atlanta is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator to greet patients, manage check-in/check-out, and handle payments while supporting daily clinic operations.

You will coordinate with therapists and care teams to ensure smooth scheduling, accurate documentation, and a positive patient experience, while maintaining HIPAA compliance and using EMR/scheduling tools as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; diploma submission for highest education level.
• 1–2 years of customer service or healthcare front office experience preferred.
• Experience using EMR systems and scheduling platforms strongly preferred.
• Must meet all compliance, background check, and onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage check-in/check-out, verify information, and schedule follow-up appointments.
• Handle payments, explain financial responsibilities, and maintain accurate daily records.
• Support clinic operations by managing phones, schedules, referrals, and EMR documentation.
• Deliver a positive patient experience by assisting with questions and addressing concerns professionally.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with therapists and internal teams to coordinate care and resolve access or scheduling issues.
• Provide coverage and support for clinic operations and special projects as needed.
