BJC HealthCare is seeking a Patient Access Representative for the Center for Advanced Medicine in St. Louis. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring smooth patient entry, accurate data capture, and clear communication about costs and procedures.

You will work to maximize appropriate reimbursements while maintaining empathetic, professional service, complying with HIPAA and Medicare guidelines in a fast-paced health system setting.

Qualifications

• Customer service excellence and compassionate interaction with patients.
• Accurate data collection and entry to support reimbursements and denials prevention.
• Familiarity with Master Patient Index (MPI) for correct patient identification.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and schedule in multiple BJC systems with accurate demographics.
• Inform patients about financial responsibilities and collect payments as needed.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, MSP, and related regulatory standards.
