You will handle patient communications, verify insurance details, educate patients on policies, and process payments while ensuring accurate data entry and charge capture. This role requires strong attention to detail and patient-facing professionalism.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2-5 years of experience in a front office role.
• Prefer outpatient medical office experience.

Responsibilities

• Handles telephone calls from patients and staff; forwards calls requiring triage.
• Performs receptionist duties with close attention to detail and professionalism.
• Verifies health insurance payment information and educates patients on applicable regulations; collects payments and records data.
• Performs data entry of service charges, including assignment of diagnostic codes and entering physician/clinic charges.
• Coordinates information with Central Billing Office to ensure charges are captured and properly collected.
