Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Registers and admits patients following policy, using two identifiers.
  • Ensure patients are checked in to hospital systems.
  • Obtain complete patient demographics and financial information in the system.
  • Collect and record patient payments and maintain ledgers.
  • Explain insurance benefits and hospital policies to patients.
  • Verify insurance eligibility and obtain pre-certifications as needed.
  • Maintain accuracy score above 89% and support supervisor as needed.
