Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Checks patients in for appointments and verifies demographics.
• Ensures all check-in procedures are completed and monitors patient wait times.
• Reads and interprets insurance responses and assigns primary/secondary/tertiary coverage.
• Obtains necessary signatures and privacy disclosures.
• Communicates financial obligations and collects fees at time of service.
• Schedules follow-up appointments and referrals as needed.
• Handles patient communications regarding appointments, referrals, prescriptions, and complaints.
• Maintains patient confidentiality in line with HIPAA guidelines.
