Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greets and registers patients and answers telephone calls.
• Schedules appointments and pulls/files medical charts as needed.
• Verifies demographics, insurance, and physician information.
• Screens patient data for insurance eligibility and pre-certifications.
• Identifies self-pay patients and refers them to financial assistance when applicable.
• Maintains open communication with departments and clinical staff.
• Assists in shadowing/precepting new employees.
