Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients and families in registration areas.
• Answer telephone calls and schedule appointments.
• Pull and file medical charts as indicated.
• Collect accurate demographics and insurance information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and pre-certification requirements.
• Identify self-pay patients and refer to financial assistance when applicable.
• Coordinate communication with clinical staff and other departments.
• Assist in shadowing/precepting new employees.
