Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree preferred.
• One year health care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets and registers patients and families in registration areas.
• Answers telephone calls and provides information to customers.
• Schedules appointments and retrieves and files medical charts when indicated.
• Ensures demographic and insurance information is accurate during registration.
• Verifies insurance eligibility and explains requirements to customers.
• Identifies self-pay situations and refers to financial assistance when applicable.
