Job summary

Responsibilities

• Greets and registers patients.
• Answers telephone calls, schedules appointments.
• Pulls and files medical charts when indicated.
• Ensures patient data is accurate (demographics, insurance).
• Screens patient eligibility for insurance and pre-certification requirements.
• Maintains open communication with Patient Access and clinical staff.
• Assists in shadowing/precepting new employees.
