Job summary

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED or HiSET required.
• Associate's degree or business college certificate preferred.
• Experience in computer data entry, customer service, and medical records preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules, reschedules, and cancels patient appointments and performs check-in/out.
• Enters patient data into computer systems accurately and completely (registration, medical records, visit creation).
• Communicates with patients regarding appointments and documentation.
• Prepares release of information and consent forms for patient signature.
• Receives and relays information to providers, staff, patients and visitors.
