Mosaic Life Care is seeking an Access Representative to support clinic operations as a receptionist and data-entry specialist. The role focuses on collecting and safeguarding patient information and facilitating smooth patient care and follow-up.

Responsibilities include appointment coordination, data entry, and communication with patients and staff. The position requires a high school diploma and offers on-site work with some flexibility in hours.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED/HiSET required.
• Associate degree or business college certificate preferred.
• Experience in computer data entry, customer service, collections and medical record responsibilities preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules, reschedules, and cancels patient appointments; performs check in/out functions.
• Enters patient data into computer systems accurately and completely.
• Communicates with patients regarding appointments and forms.
• Prepares release of information and consent forms as required.
• Answers phones and acts as receptionist for patients and staff.
• Relays information between patients, providers, and staff.
• Coordinate scheduling with Ancillary Departments when needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and hospital information.
• Attend departmental meetings.
• Handle payments and daily reconciliation.
