Southern New Hampshire Health in New Hampshire is seeking a Patient Service Representative to greet patients, register for visits, and support front desk operations in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

You will handle appointment scheduling, insurance verifications, copay collection, and documentation with accuracy, while delivering compassionate customer service in a team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of reception functions and clinic workflows is helpful.
• Understanding of medical terminology is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Greet, direct, register, check in, and check out patients professionally.
• Answer calls, provide information, and schedule appointments.
• Enter, track, and manage referrals, including authorizations.
• Collect, verify, and update patient demographics and insurance information.
• Process registration forms, consent documents, and medical records accurately.
• Collect copayments and balance daily records.
• Scan, index, and maintain patient documentation.
• Assist with insurance requirements and communicate with patients.
• Coordinate interpreter services as needed.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and data privacy.
• Stay updated with system changes and EPIC enhancements.
• Participate in process improvements and identify safety concerns.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, providers, and colleagues.
• Provide coverage for other staff as needed.
• Attend required trainings and meetings.
