Job summary

Women's Care PC in Yulee, FL is seeking a Patient Access Representative to be the first face and voice of the practice. You will collect patient information, verify demographics, schedule appointments, and support billing and registration with HIPAA compliance.

You will greet patients, verify insurance, handle telephony and emails, and help maintain tidy front-office operations while upholding the company's values and delivering a positive patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Exceptional customer service experience and a positive patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors promptly and courteously.
• Confirm and update patient demographics and profiles.
• Collect payments and assist with billing questions per policies.
• Scan insurance cards and IDs into the EMR system (HIPAA compliance).
• Set up payment plans per policy and explain financial options.
• Answer high volumes of calls and emails while upholding company values.
• Schedule and reschedule appointments; verify insurance eligibility.
• Maintain lobby tidiness and assist patients with online registration.
