Job summary

Women’s Care in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Patient Access Representative. You will be the first face and voice for patients, handling registration, scheduling, billing inquiries, and insurance verification.

You will greet patients, collect demographics, scan documents, set up payment plans, respond to calls and emails, and help ensure a smooth patient experience in a fast-paced setting. Experience with EMR systems and patient billing is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Exceptional customer service experience.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work with patients, co-workers, and providers.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a prompt, courteous manner.
• Collect demographics and update patient profiles accurately.
• Scan insurance cards, IDs, and documents into EMR system.
• Set up payment plans and explain financial policies to patients.
• Answer high volumes of calls and respond to emails promptly.
• Schedule or reschedule appointments and verify insurance eligibility.
• Ensure appointments are checked out and lobby remains tidy.
