Job summary

Women’s Care PC is seeking a Patient Access Representative to be the first face and voice of the practice. You will greet patients, collect demographics, verify insurance, and ensure accurate scheduling and billing for a smooth patient experience.

Responsibilities include handling high-volume calls, assisting with payments and billing inquiries, scheduling follow-ups, and maintaining a clean, welcoming lobby while upholding HIPAA rules and the company’s values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Exceptional customer service and warm, professional demeanor.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficient in computer skills and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors with a smile, collect demographics, and update patient profiles.
• Verify insurance eligibility and complete patient registration prior to visits.
• Schedule or reschedule appointments and confirm upcoming visits.
• Answer high-volume calls and respond to patient emails promptly; assist with billing questions.
• Ensure all appointments are checked out in eCW at day’s end and lobby remains tidy.
• Assist patients with online registration or forms when needed.
