Women’s Care is seeking a Patient Access Representative to be the first face and voice of the practice. You will collect patient information for registration, confirm up-to-date details for scheduling and billing, and ensure an exceptional patient experience.

This role involves greeting patients, handling demographics, collecting payments, and guiding insurance processes with HIPAA compliance. Responsibilities include answering high volumes of calls and emails, scheduling and rescheduling

Formación

• Greet patients and visitors promptly and courteously.
• Obtain and confirm patient demographics and update profiles per policy.
• Collect payments and assist with billing while meeting time-of-service goals.
• Scan insurance cards and IDs into EMR systems (HIPAA compliance).
• Set up payment plans per policy.
• Understand financial policies and patient forms to answer questions.

Responsabilidades

• Answer a high volume of incoming calls and respond to patient emails promptly while adhering to company values.
• Confirm all unconfirmed appointments for the next business day.
• Monitor the lobby to ensure waiting times are reasonable and inform patients of delays.
• Assist patients with online registration or form completion as needed.
• Schedule or reschedule appointments and verify insurance information at check-out.
• Ensure all appointments in the EMR are checked out at the end of the day.
