Qualifications

• 1-3 years clerical experience and customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with medical terminology and insurance plans preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient entrance into Mercy facilities: scheduling, registration, benefit verification, pre-certification and financial clearance.
• Ensure patient data accuracy and populate records with attention to detail.
• Maintain knowledge of insurance carriers, Medicare guidelines and applicable regulations.
