Qualifications

• 1-3 years clerical experience and customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with medical terminology and insurance plans preferred.
• High School diploma required; some college helpful.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, register, verify benefits, pre-certify, and obtain financial clearance.
• Ensure accurate patient data is entered into the record.
• Explain payment options and financial assistance resources to patients.
• Document outcomes of financial conversations.
• Communicate with patients, physicians, staff and insurance companies.
