Qualifications

• High-school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrate the ability to complete financial clearance ( Mercy payment plan, EPPC, bad debt resolution, etc.).
• Experience with insurance plans and patient data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, register and verify patient information and benefits.
• Obtain and document patient financial responsibility before or at the time of service.
• Explain payment options and resources and document outcomes of financial conversations.
• Serve as a mentor to fellow Patient Access coworkers.
