Qualifications

• Greet patients and visitors promptly and courteously.
• Verify patient information and collect required demographics and insurance details.
• Enter/update patient demographic and insurance information in EMR accurately.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in prompt, courteous, and helpful manner.
• Verifies patient information and assures paperwork is completed and signed.
• Obtains copies of insurance cards, driver licenses and updates patient demographics; maintains records.
• Schedules and coordinates patient appointments based on provider availability and system capabilities.
• Collects patient co-pays and outstanding balances; balances daily payments.
• Acts as liaison between patients and medical staff; communicates referral information with insurers.
