Job summary

Responsibilities include check-in/out, payment collection, insurance verification, and clerical tasks while maintaining HIPAA compliance and data accuracy. Prior experience in healthcare or customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients with a friendly, professional demeanor.

• Collect copays and process payments; document registration information.
• Provide accurate wayfinding and patient support at the front desk.
• Check patients in and out; handle visit closures and follow-up as needed.
• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits; contact payers as needed.
• Assist with clerical duties: copying, scanning, faxing, and filing.
• Maintain patient files and ensure clean, organized front desk area.
• Respond to phone inquiries and direct to appropriate staff.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and adherence to company policies.
