Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-2 years healthcare experience preferred.
• Familiar with medical terminology and strong customer service.

Aufgaben

• Register patients in person or via phone and verify information for identification and reimbursement.
• Assign the appropriate guarantor for each patient.
• Ensure disclosures, privacy information, and consent to treat are signed.
• Verify insurance eligibility in real time and act on insurer responses.
• Complete MSQ for Medicare patients when appropriate.
• Collect financial obligations and provide counseling and HPE guidance.
• Reconcile end-of-day cashier duties.
• Collaborate with internal staff and payers to obtain needed information.
• Assist external customers and provide professional service.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and meet quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
