Ridgeview is seeking a casual patient access coordinator to ensure accurate registration and scheduling for patients while representing the organization with a positive first impression. The role requires greeting patients, verifying insurance, and coordinating information across departments to support efficient care delivery.

The position involves travel to multiple Ridgeview locations in Minnesota, with hours that vary and no guaranteed benefits.

• Previous Customer Service Experience

Mansioni

• Registers patients in person or by phone, verifying information for initial claim submission
• Completes pre-visit planning for a seamless patient experience
• Assigns the appropriate Guarantor for each patient
• Greets and provides courteous customer service to internal and external customers
• Verifies insurance eligibility and benefits using real time eligibility checks and applies responses
• Collects financial obligations from patients or refers to Patient Financial Services for counseling
• Uses resources, tools and procedures to complete accounts in assigned work queues
• Coordinates requests for release of medical information
• Performs other duties as assigned
