Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Patient Access Representative in Exeter, NH to ensure a fast, welcoming patient experience across registration and scheduling. You will collect demographics and financial information, explain processes, and support patients through the visit lifecycle with confidentiality and accuracy.

The role supports a busy clinic, requiring multitasking, attention to detail, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required; an Associate's degree preferred.
Call center/telephone customer service experience is a plus.
Strong typing skills (40+ wpm) and knowledge of medical terminology are preferred.
Familiar with EHR software and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

Register patients for visits and explain the registration process.
Process co-payments, co-insurance, deductibles, and balances due; safeguard cash and reconcile drawer.
Assist with Medicare Secondary Payer Questionnaire and consent forms; handle document processing.
Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments; maintain confidentiality and security of patient information.
Provide patient financial counseling and communicate financial clearance status as needed.
