Qualifications

• Requires 1–3 years related work experience.
• Experience with computer systems incl. web-based apps and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Registers patients presenting for visits and explains the registration process.
• Processes patient co-payments, co-insurance, deductibles, and balances due; reconciles cash drawer daily.
• Completes Medicare Secondary Payer Questionnaire; adjusts coverage as needed.
• Obtains signatures on consent/financial forms; scans and records documents.
• Counsels patients on non-covered services and ABNs; ensures confidentiality.
• Maintains orderly registration desk and waiting area; safeguards patient information.
• Schedules patients via multiple sources; handles rescheduling and cancellations.
• Verifies insurance coverage using real-time eligibility; assigns guarantor as needed.
