Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of medical or healthcare front desk experience preferred.
• Experience with insurance verifications and patient billing.
• Working knowledge of computers and confidentiality.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Epic experience is a plus.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients promptly and courteously.
• Verify and update patient demographics and insurance information.
• Determine eligibility and coverage for services across plans.
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and balances at check-in/check-out.
• Assist with past-due balances and explain payment options.
• Schedule patient and diagnostic appointments for multiple physicians.
• Follow up on appointments to minimize no-shows.
• Answer patient inquiries with professionalism and care.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to optimize patient flow.
• Take initiative and escalate issues when needed.
• Contribute to a positive office culture with leadership.
