Qualifications

• Customer service or data entry experience required.
• Proficient keyboarding skills.
• Knowledge of third-party payers and medical terminology preferred.
• Strong grammar, spelling and punctuation.

Responsibilities

• Register patients by verifying identity and placing on correct record.
• Review schedules and physician orders to register for appropriate service.
• Explain and complete regulatory documents; verify demographics and insurance in EHR.
• Explain and collect co-pays, deposits and balances; perform secure transactions.
• Greet patients and families; assist with scheduling, pre-admission and discharge.
