Job summary

JAG Physical Therapy in Vineland, NJ seeks a Patient Access Representative to greet patients, answer questions, schedule appointments, register new patients and maintain records. You will support insurance verifications, authorizations and referrals, helping the clinic run smoothly and ensuring excellent patient service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a medical assistant certificate program preferred.
• 1+ years of experience as a medical receptionist/administrative assistant in health care.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in the medical office.
• Answer patient questions and provide assistance and directions.
• Field all calls using the general office number.
• Use medical office software to schedule appointments.
• Register new patients and update records.
• Distribute forms to ensure required fields are completed.
• Collect daily patient financial responsibility.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records.
• Complete and track insurance verifications, authorizations, and referrals.
• Knowledge of Workers' Compensation and Auto claim submissions.
• Perform other duties as required.
