JAG Physical Therapy is hiring a Patient Access Representative to greet patients, schedule appointments, and manage records across multiple locations. The role supports insurance processes, authorizations, and patient finances, ensuring accurate data and a smooth patient experience.

The position requires a high school diploma (medical assistant cert preferred) and 1+ year healthcare reception experience, with travel to various JAG sites as needed. Great customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a medical assistant certificate program preferred.
• 1+ years of experience as a medical receptionist/administrative assistant in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in the medical office.
• Answer patient questions and provide directions when needed.
• Handle calls using the general office line.
• Schedule new and follow-up appointments with medical software.
• Register new patients and update records.
• Distribute forms ensuring fields are completed.
• Collect daily patient financial responsibility.
