JAG Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Access Representative to ensure smooth operations, greet patients, schedule appointments, and handle insurance authorizations. This role supports care delivery across outpatient clinics with a strong emphasis on accuracy and customer service.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, healthcare reception experience, and strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical assistant certificate preferred.
• 1+ years as medical receptionist/administrative assistant in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in the medical office.
• Answer questions and provide directions as needed.
• Field calls using the general office number.
• Schedule new and follow-up appointments in the medical software.
• Register new patients and update records.
• Collect daily patient financial responsibility.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient records.
• Perform insurance verifications, authorizations, and referrals.
