Job summary

The role requires flexibility to cover shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM CT and weekend availability to support operations.

You will handle patient demographics, verify insurance eligibility, schedule appointments, and communicate clearly with patients while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years customer service or medical office experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and schedule appointments.
• Collect demographic information and verify insurance eligibility.
• Coordinate with multiple departments to direct patients through NMHC systems.
• Perform out-of-pocket estimations and explain options to patients.
• Cross-train across departments to ensure coverage and improve processes.
