Qualifications

• 1-3 years clerical and customer service experience preferred.
• Experience with medical terminology and insurance plans preferred.
• Strong communication and telephone etiquette required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with registration and scheduling.
• Verify benefits and pre-certification and financial clearance.
• Ensure accurate patient data is obtained and entered into the system.
• Maintain knowledge of insurance guidelines and Mercy Service Standards.
