AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a Guest Services Associate to welcome patients, verify demographics and insurance, and enter data into billing systems. You will register patients for services, ensure accuracy, and support timely discharge while helping maximize reimbursement.

You will collaborate with clinical partners to keep information flowing, provide patient education on test locations and portal use, and collect co-pays at check-in with professionalism.

Qualifikationen

• 1+ years in customer services and medical office with medical terminology, coding, charge entry, and payment collection.
• Prior collections experience preferred.
• CHAA certification preferred.

Aufgaben

• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries.
• Welcomes patients; updates, verifies, and enters patient demographics, insurance, and billing information.
• Registers patients for services and facilitates timely discharge to maximize reimbursement.
• Ensure financial assessments, eligibility, and benefits memos are clear and up to date.
• Maintain communication with clinical partners to ensure open information flow.
• Provide education to patients regarding test locations, patient portal use, and follow-up actions.
• Request co-pays and/or outstanding balances at check-in with professionalism.
• Other duties as assigned.
