Job summary

Qualifications

• 1+ years in customer services and medical office/related setting with medical terminology
• Preferred: prior collections experience
• CHAA certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and direct calls appropriately
• Welcomes patients and verifies demographics, insurance, and billing information
• Registers patients for services and facilitates timely discharge
• Communicates patient status to team members to maintain smooth operational flow
• Provides patient education on test locations, portal use, and follow‑up actions
• Requests co-pays and/or outstanding balances at check-in
