AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a Hospital Patient Services Associate to review schedules, verify eligibility and benefits, and assist with authorizations and pre-certifications to prevent denials. You’ll support patient flow, verify registrations, explain insurance coverage, and collect payments while delivering compassionate service.

The role requires strong communication, multi-tasking, and proficiency with Outlook and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Experience with hospital revenue cycle or medical office procedures is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact professionally with patients and staff.

Responsabilités

• Reviews schedules and performs eligibility and benefits verification and re-verification for patient visits.
• Ensures authorizations and pre-certifications are correct to avoid denials and cancellations.
• Monitors patient wait and registration times and supports clinical teams to remove barriers to timely care.
• Explains charges and payment options to patients and collects payments.
• Registers patients for services and explains insurance coverage and patient financial responsibilities.
