Job summary

AdventHealth in Parker, Colorado is hiring for a full-time Guest Services position. You will handle answering calls, greet patients, collect demographics and insurance data, and support registration and discharge to ensure smooth patient flow.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or equivalent, with Associate degree preferred in health services administration or related field. Prior medical office experience and knowledge of medical terminology are a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate and/or higher-level education in health services administration or related medical/business field.
• High School Grad or Equiv required.
• 1+ year of customer services in medical office or similar; knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and direct calls to the appropriate party.
• Welcome patients and collect, verify, and enter demographics, insurance, and billing information.
• Assist with patient registration, discharge, and coordination with clinical partners.
• Explain test locations, portal usage, and non-clinical follow-up steps to patients.
• Obtain co-pays and outstanding balances at check-in and support post-care financial needs.
