Baystate Noble Hospital is seeking an intake/administrative specialist to support patient-centered care. The role includes greeting, registration, insurance verification, referrals, scheduling, and handling calls with strong customer service.

The position operates under supervision, performing a range of clinic administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. You will work with a multidisciplinary team, ensure confidentiality, assist with payments and documentation, and help improve patient

Formación

• Experience in medical office or healthcare environment preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greet patients promptly with warmth and handle inquiries.
• Verify demographics and insurance information.
• Collect co-pays and record payments.
• Maintain confidential patient information per HIPAA.
• Check out patients with follow-up scheduling and referrals.
• Answer and route telephone calls.
• Schedule appointments and manage waitlists.
• Process incoming mail and faxes.
• Prepare documents and obtain releases when needed.
• Coordinate physician schedules.
• Follow office procedures and suggest improvements.
• Provide interpreter services when approved.
• Cross-train across practices as needed.
