Resurgens Orthopaedics is seeking a Patient Access Representative to be the first point of contact for patients and to manage registration and financial intake. You will verify demographics and insurance, schedule appointments, and communicate financial responsibilities to patients to facilitate smooth visits.

Qualifications

• Certification or training in patient access preferred but not required.
• Experience in patient registration, insurance verification, or customer service is preferred.
• Experience with EHR and scheduling software is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and verify personal, financial, and insurance information for accuracy.
• Collect and input demographic and insurance details into the EHR system.
• Verify insurance coverage and eligibility before appointments or procedures.
• Obtain prior authorization for procedures or services as required by insurers.
• Schedule patient appointments based on physician availability and patient needs.
• Inform patients about co-pays, deductibles, and insurance benefits before service delivery.
• Assist patients with payment options and payment plans as necessary.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant handling of confidential information.
