• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and billing regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to patients, guests, and family members.
• Create, activate, and complete scheduling, clinic registration, or hospital admission.
• Ensure all required forms are completed and paperwork is accurate.
• Efficiently gather and input demographic and financial information; explain benefits and collect payments.
• Perform financial analysis and inform patient of financial responsibility.
• Balance cash drawer daily and process deposits at close.
• Demonstrate professionalism and resolve interpersonal conflicts.
• Adapt communication to diverse patient populations.
• Other related duties as required.
• Remain compliant with federal, state and local laws and privacy standards.
