Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of customer service or health care experience preferred.
• Familiarity with EMR systems (Cerner/EPIC) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and handle financial data accurately in EMR.
• Greet patients promptly and collect required demographic information.
• Collect copays/deductibles and explain process to patients.
• Direct patients and maintain professionalism per policy.
• Ensure compliance with hospital and department plans and Meaningful Use.
