Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year experience in a customer service role or health care industry.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently performs registration and financial functions via EMR to include: interviewing techniques, registers patients in appropriate status, documenting demographic and financial data, scanning forms into the medical record.
• Greet customers promptly with a warm and friendly reception.
• Collects, documents, scans required demographic and financial information.
• Direct patients to appropriate setting, explaining delays when necessary.
• Maintain professionalism and diplomacy per department standards.
• Estimates and collects copays, deductibles, and other patient financial obligations.
