Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of customer service or healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Register patients in EMR with accurate demographic and financial data.
• Greet patients with a warm, professional reception.
• Collect and document all required demographic and financial information.
• Direct patients to appropriate setting and explain delays when needed.
• Maintain professionalism per department policies.
• Estimate and collect copays, deductibles, and other financial obligations.
• Comply with hospital and department policies and Meaningful Use requirements.
• Assist with electronic registration tools (Wacom tablets, iPads) when available.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
