Rochester General Health System in Batavia, NY seeks an Access Associate to greet patients, handle check-in/out, and process payments. You will manage registration, verify insurance, and assist with scheduling in a friendly, professional manner.

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a M-F 7:50am–4:20pm schedule, at UMMC - Jerome Center. Excellent customer service and accurate administrative duties are essential.

Formación

• 2 year degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Associate degree preferred.
• One year of customer service experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Customer Service. Manage incoming calls while providing necessary information; greeting patients providing direction as needed and scheduling patient appointments
• Registration & Verification. Complete the registration process for patients as defined by departmental policy; verify insurance eligibility/coverage and obtain necessary precertification/authorization when applicable
• Billing & Payments. Collect and process payments when applicable
