Cooper Norcross Health seeks an experienced patient access professional to greet patients using AIDET, perform full registration, verify demographics and insurance, and schedule appointments across the healthcare continuum.

The role involves collecting co-pays, reconciling cash drawer, handling MyChart communications, and helping patients navigate pre-certifications, authorizations, referrals, and medical records with a strong focus on customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of registration or billing experience in a medical facility preferred.
• Proficiency in patient registration, scheduling, medical insurance pre-certifications, authorizations and referrals.
• NAHAM CHAA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patients and guests using AIDET and performs full registration including demographics and insurance verification.
• Makes appointments across the healthcare continuum including physician visits, imaging, and labs.
• Collects co-pays, reconciles cash drawer daily, and handles non-clinical duties like documentation and referrals.
• Supports outreach via MyChart messaging and confirmation calls; maintains patient communications.
