Essentia Health in Duluth, MN is seeking a part-time Patient Scheduler to pre-register and schedule patients for appointments, tests, and services. You will handle calls, verify insurance, and coordinate with care teams to ensure efficient care and accurate patient cost estimates.

Responsibilities include updating guarantor data, processing referrals, and entering information into the electronic health record while maintaining excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in scheduling multiple service lines within the market.
• Experience with scheduling across Essentia Health services.
• Demonstrated accuracy in data entry and insurance verification.

Responsabilités

• Patient identification, registration, and scheduling, including estimates and signatures.
• Full pre-registration of callers, updating guarantor information and verifying insurance eligibility.
• Coordinate scheduling of services for patients including ancillary and procedure scheduling.
• Handle incoming calls, follow-up and referral work queues, ticket scheduling.
• Enter data into the electronic health record while communicating with patients.
