Qualifications

• Proficient in scheduling multiple service lines across Essentia Health.
• Full pre-registration of patients and verification of insurance eligibility.
• Coordinate scheduling of services including ancillary and procedure scheduling.
• Accurate data entry into the electronic health record while communicating with patients.

Responsibilities

• Identify and register patients for appointments, procedures, tests, and lab work.
• Handle incoming calls, follow-up and referral queues, and ticket scheduling.
• Pre-register patients, update guarantor information, and verify insurance eligibility.
• Coordinate scheduling with care teams to ensure timely, appropriate care.
• Enter data accurately into the permanent EHR while talking with patients.
• Collaborate with support and clinical staff to deliver quality service and outcomes.
